QUILOTOA LAGOON TREK

Quilotoa is a 3 km wide volcanic caldera formed by it´s eruption about 800 years ago. It is considered one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world for its strong turquoise color and the surrounding landscape, in this visit we will make a trek around the lagoon and descend to the shores of the lake.

Your Plan

• 07:30 – Pick up from your hotel
• 09:30 – Explore Saquisili/Pujili (Thursday/Sunday)
• 10:30 – Depart for Laguna Quilotoa
• 13:30 – Lunch, begin descent into Laguna
• 14:30 – Explore Laguna- optional kayaking
• 15:30 – Return ascent to crater
• 16:30 – Begin drive back to Quito
• 19:00 – Arrival in Quito
